INTRODUCTION

OUR AIM

Our aim is to provide the corporate client with a training facility that combines a wide range of outdoor training aids with ample indoor workspace for multiple small groups.

The facility is a component of the Maekok River Village Resort complex, which in turn is the headquarters of Track of the Tiger, a leading adventure tour company that has been in operation for more than 15 years.

The corporate development facility is situated in a countryside environment well suited to the running of team building orientated programmes.

THE LOCATION

The Maekok River Village Resort is situated directly by the Maekok River, 512 metres above sea level, in the small town of Ban Thaton. It is easily accessible and is only 173km north of Chiang Mai and 90km west of Chiang Rai (both of whom operate direct flights from Bangkok). Ban Thaton is two villages, the south bank being occupied by the Thais, and the north bank, recently renamed Ban Rom Thai, inhabited by the Burmese Shan. The Shan have their own temple, culture and customs.

The Corporate Development Facility benefits from the local environment and takes advantage of the diverse range of jungle, rivers, waterfalls and climate, which, to a great extent, makes it a very unique place to visit.

THE SECONDARY LOCATIONS

As much of our equipment is portable by design we are able to provide a wide range of our services to corporate clients in alternative locations such as Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Krabi or Hua Hin.

PROGRAMMES

We understand that every corporation /company has its own mission and objectives. Thus, the training needs of each group, although similar to those of other corporations / companies are unique.

Each element of a training programme should therefore be carefully selected either by the company management or their appointed consultants, (with assistance from ourselves if required), to best achieve the training programme's predetermined goals or objectives.

We offer a diverse range of activities that help address management issues such as leadership, team building, delegation, problem solving, decision making, role development, organisational learning, empowerment and long-term planning.

PROGRAMME DESIGN ASSISTANCE

We suggest you rough draft the programme yourself, and submit it to us for a quotation. The draft should include the following:

How many participants you have.
When, and for how many days you want to run a programme.
Which activities you wish to include.
When you want to insert lecture room sessions.
Which lecture facilities you wish to make use of.
What lecture aids you require - OHP, slide projector etc.
What accommodation type you want.
What meals and entertainment you require.
What entertainment you want laid on.
