Sanctuary
Over
the years Track of the Tiger Tours has become a halfway house
/ sanctuary for wild animals destined to be under the care
of the Wildlife Fund of Thailand or the Wild Animal Rescue
Foundation.
As of May ’97,
temporary residents, housed in the sanctuary on a small plot
of land in Ban Thaton included gibbons, macaques, stump tails
and rhesus, as well as two juvenile Asiatic black bears.
