Transfers - From Chiang Mai to Ban Thaton

Vehicle Transfers - Direct.

Direct transfers by minibus are available to and from Chiang Mai (3 hrs) anytime at app.$40 per minibus (1-9 seats).

The Government bus service runs along the above route regularly and charges less than $2 per seat.

Prior to leaving the Chiang Mai area you visit Wat Doi Suthep, the handicraft markets, and the orchid & butterfly farm. Lunch is followed by a three hour drive north along a scenic route broken by a stop for afternoon tea in the grounds of a provincial resort.

Depart Chiang Mai and head north to the Fang valley and the forest temple of Wat Tum Tubtao. Cycle along rural back roads through rolling agricultural landscapes, stopping for lunch then on to a rare Palong Hilltribe village. Re-board the vehicle after your 2-3 hour cycle stage and head back to Ban Thaton.
