Track of the Tiger - What’s in a name?
The
tiger (panthera tigris) avoids areas densely populated by
humans. His domain extends outward from the peripheral edge of man’s
cultivated areas deep into jungle seldom penetrated by man. The
tiger’s tracks define the outer limits of his proclaimed territory.
Mankind must, when visiting these areas, limit the negative effects
of his passing in order to preserve the balance of nature and to
ensure that the awesome beauty of these unexplored places remains
available to the next generation of humans...and tigers alike.
Our philosophy is that our tours should start on the outskirts
of human habitation - hence the company name.
