Cooking at MRVR
When in Thailand, taking a cooking course is the ideal way to ‘take something home’ with you, as the dishes you learn can be enjoyed time and again with family and friends. The MaekoK River Village Resort is home to the Krua Maekok Cooking School and offers a variety of cooking classes from half a day to 6 days in length.
The Maekok River Village Resort is well known for its extensive menu of excellent Thai food. Unlike major city hotels, the food prepared in our kitchen is authentic Thai. The full day course (morning & afternoon), is conducted in the Krua Maekok cooking school in the grounds of Maekok River Village Resort. The facility has 12 fully equipped individual cooking stations, set around a focal point of the Chef Instructor’s station. On this course the Chef first demonstrates the preparation and cooking of each dish (assisted by one of our tour guides). The Chef then assists as you repeat the complete process at your own cooking station.
Note* Certificates of attendance are issued to all participants.
